We Survived!
We survived our first week at home. As you probably guessed from the drop off in posts, it was pretty hectic! Catherine and I are learning how to manage everything and try to squeeze in a little sleep in between. Thankfully we had some help last week from Catherine's mom and sister. The girls came home from the NICU on a four hour eating schedule, which was great. That barely lasted a week before we had to adjust it to a three hour schedule, which seems to make them much happier. The girls went to the doctor on Thursday to get their shots and a check up. Caroline passed Abby in weight and is now up to 5 lbs. 9 oz. and Abby weighs 5 lbs. 7 oz. As some of you might know that Abby's jaundice came back a few weeks ago, she's a little yellow in the pictures. The NICU doctors changed her medicine around to see if that helped. She had blood work at the doctor which showed her levels are dropping which we are very excited about, her color is looking much better! The girls are enjoying meeting all of their family and friends. Also, I posted a lot of new pictures from this week.

I am so glad to see that you survived the first week. It's all downhill from there - the adjustment is the biggest issue, but I knew the two of you would do great. I haven't called because I know you have NO TIME for small talk right now but all of you continue to be in our prayers. Can't wait to meet those little angels in person. We love you - Ash and Kristen
Catherine,
Your girls are beautiful! I have had you in my thoughts and prayers and am glad to hear that you are all doing well. I wish you all the best!!
I'm glad that your family has had a good week. Isn't it fun?...and lots of work?! You're starting to understand all the "double" jokes!! Two feedings, changes, baths, etc. But it is wonderful and the fun of twins is lifelong. I'm glad to see that you are taking lots of pictures!!
