Summer Portraits!

We had our pictures taken about a month ago by a friend up here in Asheville. They turned out great! It is such a hard decision now on which ones to frame and hang up!! She captured so many of Caroline and Abby's unique expressions and did so in such a beautiful way! We took them at the North Carolina Arboretum which is an absolutely beautiful place to be. I'll put some in our Photo Gallery II.

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. We went to Lake Keowee and spent the weekend with the Gadd family. Caroline and Abby had so much fun playing with Payton and admiring sweet baby Claire. We all went to Clemson for the First Friday parade (on Sunday this year!) and then drove to the New's tailgate at their home in Greenville. It was so fun to see a bunch of old friends and catch up! Michael and Jonathan had a blast watching the Clemson Tigers beat FSU Monday night while Krista and I kept the girls at the house. We stayed up late and enjoyed our time together! Caroline, Abby and I went to Atlanta on Tuesday while Michael went back to work. We had a great visit with family...always too short! We went to the Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain on Thursday and then headed home to Asheville. Michael's birthday was yesterday so we of course went to Barley's to celebrate!
