July's ups and downs....
Now for the downs....we had to put Maggie to sleep at the beginning of July. She had a cancerous tumor and got really sick, really fast. It was hard to make that decision, but we know it was for the best. We miss having a dog and we miss our special Maggie. She was a good dog.
Michael's Granny died in the middle of July and that has been really hard. She was such a beautiful and sweet lady. She had been sick for a while and now she is free from pain and suffering. Her funeral was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed remembering the great times with his Granny.

Caroline and Abby are just so sweet! They are talking a lot now. Saying lots of words that we understand and lots of words that we don't!! They are trying new things to eat but still are a little picky with the textures. I think Abby is more easy going than Caroline in the food department. It is hard to believe they will be 20 months old on Monday. Time really does fly! I put some pictures of our July in "Photo Gallery II". We really have been blessed to spend a lot of time with our family and friends this month!

Hi! I surfed in from Joy's blog. I like to see yours because I, too, have twins. Two boys. It's interesting to see what other twin parents are experiencing.
I'm sorry about the downers in your month. Losing a pet and loved one is very difficult. We had to put our cat to sleep on Easter Sunday. He got very sick, very fast, VERY unexpectedly. We just got my older daughter a new kitten this weekend. It's a new joyous beginning!
My boys, one in particular, are funny about certain textures, too. One of them will eat nothing that is really cold. You can forget ice cream with him. He won't keep pasta in his mouth, either. Fortunately one of them eats practically anything you put in front of him that's food, and unfortunately he finds non-edible items to enjoy on occassion.
Your girls are adorable!
