New tricks!

It's been awhile since our last post...Abby and Caroline have learned a lot of new fun things since then! They are very fast crawlers! It doesn't take them long to find a telephone to call someone, a glass of water to spill or a remote control to change the channel! They are really good sitters. Caroline learned to come up to sitting by herself over Labor Day weekend. (Abby had already mastered that trick!) They are both pulling up on everything... even each other! Their favorite toy is whatever their sister has at the moment! We've started giving them three "baby food" meals a day and they are practicing chewing on "puffs". We went to the pediatrician this week for their 9 month checkup. Caroline weighs 17 lbs 6 ounces and Abby weighs 17 lbs 2 ounces! We've hit the charts and they are in the 25th percentile! It is amazing how they've grown and how they are catching up! They are both 26 inches long. They laugh, smile, talk and blow lots of bubbles! The girls took their first trip to Clemson for the First Friday parade. They loved Clemson and loved playing with their friend Payton on Bowman Field. They especially love it when the band plays "Tiger Rag" and everyone sings along! We took our first overnight trip over Labor Day weekend. We stayed at the Gadd's house on Lake Keowee. It was a wonderful getaway! The girls didn't want to sleep much at night, but that was because they were so excited about going out on the lake and playing with Payton! The Gadd's, Michael and Jonathan enjoyed the first Clemson football game. Krista, Kristen, Payton, Caroline, Abby and I enjoyed hanging out at the pool! Michael and I took the girls up to Whitewater Falls on Sunday. They had fun seeing where their Daddy asked their Mommy to marry him! Even with the lack of sleep, the weekend was wonderful and we had so much fun with our friends! I'm going to put lots of new pictures in our "photo gallery" so you can see our fun trip to Clemson, the lake and fun times at home with our sweet baby girls!

Hi there! It's been awhile since I have been on and my how the girls have grown! They are beautiful. I owe you a phone call, it's been crazy here. We went to Hawaii and now are getting things together for our big move home! We are due (to move that is) the end of October. I am so excited about getting the kids together. The boys are full fledge walkers now and into everything! They love to give "sugar" (kisses) and trade food with each other. Peyton gets Parker's bread and Parker gets Peyton's meat. Peyton's favorite things is trucks and Parker loves to clean with anything.. a sock, towel, babywipe...he may just clean your bottom or feet if you are not carefull. Chris got his bottom "wiped" the other day by Parker when he was on the floor chasing them around. Peyton is a daddy's boy and Parker is a momma's boy! I can't wait to be closer and hang out with you and the girls. It will be fun seeing them grow in person and not just through pictures...though I do enjoy the pictures and updates. It has been so fun to watch them change, grow and learn new things over this past year (almost). Did you ever imagine getting this far? For so long the NICU and feeding schedules were your life...now its crawlers and baby food! Congratulations on two beautiful, healthy babies! God is so good and gracious. See you soon. Love Martha
