Merry Christmas!
It is amazing to look at our tiny babies and reflect on Christ's birth. He wasn't as small as our girls, but he was fragile and needed his mommy and daddy to care for Him. How amazing that God chose to come into our world as a tiny baby! We have so much to be thankful for this Christmas! We have two beautiful daughters and they are in great hands! The NICU staff at Gwinnett is awesome..they are all so caring and skilled. The girls had a good day today. Caroline now weighs 3 lbs 4 ounces and Abby weighs 3 lbs 7 ounces! What a Christmas present! Abby got off the CPAP this morning and is on the nasal cannula and doing really well on it. It is so fun to be able to see her precious face! (the CPAP covers her nose and there are straps that cover her cheeks!) Caroline had to be reintubated Friday night and she came down with an infection. They are treating her with antibiotics and they definitely caught it early. Twins like to share everything! (Abby is finally feeling better after her infection last week!) Caroline is doing well today, resting a little on the ventilator. The doctor was talking about taking her off the vent soon. Both girls are now eating again..through the og tube. We were very blessed with a great day. We are thankful for our friends and family and all your love and prayers! We had a special Christmas and look forward to next Christmas when our girls will be home with us!

Catherine I just got the email with your web site and saw the girls! They are beautiful!! I am praying daily for the girls and your family. They are growing very well and we are expecting from the Lord to get you more good days than bad.
