First broken bone!

And we are still smiling!! Miss Caroline fell "just right" at our indoor mall playground and broke her left collarbone (clavicle). Bless her little heart! She was really hurting those first few days, but is much better now!! She was most concerned about not being able to wear a dress or her ballet leotard with her brace because it was "not fancy." Well, we fixed that!! I sewed sequins on the straps and this figure 8 brace is certainly the most fancy brace I have ever seen! And it looks cute with dresses, cheerleading outfits, leotards, princess dresses...really whatever Caroline wants to wear! She has been great about wearing her brace and doesn't complain of pain at all. Abby has been a sweet sister and looks out for Caroline! Her ballet teacher told me that Abby was telling everyone that she needed to be right behind Caroline so no one would accidently bump into her. Too sweet! The doctor said it should heal in about 6 weeks and we go back periodically to check and "take a picture" (x-ray)! Caroline was so brave and was the "#1 patient" in the office that day!
