Washington, D.C.

Michael and I took the girls on their first trip to Washington, D.C. this weekend. We were able to spend some time with our sweet friend Carrie. Her husband, Adam, is truly an American hero and was injured in Afghanistan. It was wonderful to be there for a short time with them. We are so humbled to think about the men and women that fight every day to protect our freedoms that we enjoy every day. Adam is recovering so well and it has been a privilege to pray for him and for Carrie as they go through this difficult time. Their son, Cohen, is adorable and we all loved playing with him!
