Ponytails and Roofing Paper!
So the girls finally have enough hair to get a little "pony" as they call it with their hairbows! We are in the in-between stage where they sort of need a haircut, but I hate to cut those sweet little curls in the back. Maybe the ponytails will help keep their bangs out of their eyes while they grow longer! If of course, they keep them in without Mommy having to fix them every few minutes!
The house is really coming along. We are "in the dry" which is very exciting! Maybe now all the prayers for rain will really come through...I hope so! They put the tar paper on the roof and after the plumber comes next week to do some venting through the roof, the shingles will be put on. Our windows will arrive next week and they'll install them after Thanksgiving. We are about to be in the major decision making/picking out of absolutely everything phase! It is a little overwhelming to think about, but exciting too!
We went to the Clemson/Wake Forest game last weekend and had a great time with the Gadd family. Caroline & Abby love playing with Payton and baby Claire. The girls went to the game with us and did great! Abby was tired of everything by the 4th quarter since she and her sister had not had a nap all day. She didn't want anyone to touch her, hold her, talk to her or look at her. It was kind of funny! They loved seeing the Clemson Tiger from a distance and were really great at the game and had fun tailgating. Abby got her second wind for tailgating after the game! We are having a ton of fun with our little toddlers. They are talking so much and definitely forming their own opinions about certain things! They have the sweetest smiles and love to play and laugh with each other!
