New tricks!

It's been awhile since our last post...Abby and Caroline have learned a lot of new fun things since then! They are very fast crawlers! It doesn't take them long to find a telephone to call someone, a glass of water to spill or a remote control to change the channel! They are really good sitters. Caroline learned to come up to sitting by herself over Labor Day weekend. (Abby had already mastered that trick!) They are both pulling up on everything... even each other! Their favorite toy is whatever their sister has at the moment! We've started giving them three "baby food" meals a day and they are practicing chewing on "puffs". We went to the pediatrician this week for their 9 month checkup. Caroline weighs 17 lbs 6 ounces and Abby weighs 17 lbs 2 ounces! We've hit the charts and they are in the 25th percentile! It is amazing how they've grown and how they are catching up! They are both 26 inches long. They laugh, smile, talk and blow lots of bubbles! The girls took their first trip to Clemson for the First Friday parade. They loved Clemson and loved playing with their friend Payton on Bowman Field. They especially love it when the band plays "Tiger Rag" and everyone sings along! We took our first overnight trip over Labor Day weekend. We stayed at the Gadd's house on Lake Keowee. It was a wonderful getaway! The girls didn't want to sleep much at night, but that was because they were so excited about going out on the lake and playing with Payton! The Gadd's, Michael and Jonathan enjoyed the first Clemson football game. Krista, Kristen, Payton, Caroline, Abby and I enjoyed hanging out at the pool! Michael and I took the girls up to Whitewater Falls on Sunday. They had fun seeing where their Daddy asked their Mommy to marry him! Even with the lack of sleep, the weekend was wonderful and we had so much fun with our friends! I'm going to put lots of new pictures in our "photo gallery" so you can see our fun trip to Clemson, the lake and fun times at home with our sweet baby girls!
